Debbie Fields of Floral Fields (www.floralfields.net) is a regular florist at Bloomingdale's (Sherman Oaks). She routinely holds floral presentations for different departments in Bloomingdale's such as fashion, potteries & fragrance department.

Debbie Fields is a well known wedding florist in LA & Ventura County Area. In 2007, Debbie was voted #2 hottest wedding florist by MyFoxLA.com.  #2 is an amazing rating.  Most florists don't get nominated.  I had a privilege to work with Debbie in two weddings last year.

Today, she had a presentation at Bloomingdale's.  The event was titled "Fragrance in Bloom".  She had a display of flowers at the entrance area.  A lot of people dropped by to look at the flowers.  Some people smelled the flowers and chatted with Debbie.  Some people wanted to know if they can have some free flowers

We chatted for a while.  We talked about the past wedding customers.  I took some pictures for the record.

Ivy House, an Inglewood wedding chapel, shut down September 11 and took all money from the customers.

Some customers paid $16,000.00 so Ivy House can provide everything (Music, Cake, Photography, Videography, food. flower, etc, etc…).  Considering most people book weddings 1 year earlier, there may be a lot of victims.

This makes us look bad.

** I even received one email from the bride.  She was looking for the photographer who took pictures of her wedding.  It looks like she will never receive her pictures.
