John & Suzanne Chadwick (The Chadwicks) are hair industry icons. Working together and married for the past 40 years, they are partners in every sense of the word, and have been involved in every facet of the professional hair and beauty industry worldwide.
Born and raised in Great Britain, both John & Suzanne Chadwick began their hairdressing apprenticeships in their mid-teens. By age 20, they represented their country in the World Hairdressing Olympics in Milan, Italy and Basle, Switzerland and they won. At age 24 they married, relocated to the United States and began a career that has earned them legendary status within the professional beauty industry.
John & Suzanne Chadwick have been the creative authorities for such companies as Glemby International, Seligman & Latz, Clairol, Shiseido, Aderan, Harcourt Brace Janovitch, Joseph Fleischer, L’Oreal, Unilever, The Full Service Institute, Zotos International, Exhibitions & Conventions Inc., Patron and Paul Mitchell Systems.
They have had Advanced Professional Hair Fashion Academies in New York, London and Tokyo and have directed and/or managed over 20,000 hairdressers in 1,600 salons throughout the world, such as Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks and Harvey Nichols.
As renowned educators, John & Suzanne Chadwick have trained, influenced and inspired hundreds of thousands of professional hairdressers through their countless seminars, workshops and classes held around the globe. They have repeatedly been featured artists at every U.S. and International Beauty Show, including the IBS, Cosmoprof and Intercoiffure, drawing sold-out and standing-room-only audiences year after year. Together The Chadwicks hold over 350 Hairdressing and Hair Color Awards from over five countries, including the coveted Educators of the Century, USA.
John and Suzanne Chadwick are the authors of three best-selling books for the consumer and professional and have been directly involved with numerous lines of professional hair care products and appliances through all stages of conception, development, production and marketing.
As two of the worlds top hair fashion designers, The Chadwicks work has graced both national and international print and television including features and appearances in American, Italian and French Vogue, Allure, Elle, Glamour, GQ, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Playboy, American Salon, Salon Magazine, as well as The Today Show, Barbara Walters, Good Morning America and The Merv Griffin Show.
